Despite the aforementioned benefits of the drone, i consider it to be an invasion of privacy:
- Persons are constantly being monitored,
- Persons who are suspected to be a threat to national Security are under constant surveillance - 24/7 they are incapable of living a normal. Drones monitor what they do, where they go and who they talk to". Even though you are not guilty of a crime,
- Media will have access to restricted crime scene.
Your movements will be basically "restricted" to your home; however, your home is still not safe. See-through-imagery are installed on drones, you will have to be-careful what you say or do in the place where one suppose to feel safe. No Place Is Safe.

Drones do have their benefits but as you mentioned above, they do pose a threat of violation of privacy.
ReplyDeleteI would consider drones as good technology when it comes to the purpose for which it was designed for, it is low risk and accurate. I think it should be considered a valuable asset because of its ability to carry out counterterrorism operations.
